The best weather is in spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to November). See the month table on our 24 hours in Vegas page.

By season

  • Spring (March to May): warm days, pools opening, festival and spring break crowds.
  • Summer (June to August): very hot; great pool season, cheap mid-week hotel rates.
  • Autumn (September to November): warm and pleasant; F1 in November brings road closures and high prices.
  • Winter (December to February): cool and sunny, fewer crowds outside New Year’s Eve and CES; pools mostly closed.

Cheapest times

Mid-week in summer, and quiet weeks in December and January outside events. Prices swing more with conventions than with seasons, so check the convention calendar.

Busiest times

New Year’s Eve, CES (early January), Super Bowl weekend, March Madness, EDC (May), Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, F1 (November) and National Finals Rodeo (December).
