The Strip, mile by mile
Every resort in order, north to south, with real walking times. Las Vegas Boulevard runs about 4.4 miles from the STRAT to Mandalay Bay.
Estimates: walking at an easy pace along the Boulevard, plus the time to get from the Strip to each resort’s lobby (some are set far back). Add time for crowds, bridges and summer heat.
Quicker ways
- Monorail (east side): MGM Grand, Horseshoe/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars, Harrah’s/LINQ, Convention Center, Westgate, SAHARA.
- Free trams: Excalibur to Luxor to Mandalay Bay; Park MGM to ARIA to Bellagio (check it is running).
- The Deuce: 24-hour double-decker bus along the whole Strip and to downtown.
- Rideshare: signed pick-up areas at every resort, usually near the garage.

Can you walk the whole Strip?
You can, but it takes about two hours at an easy pace without stops, longer in the heat. Most people walk the centre section and use the Monorail, free trams or the Deuce bus for the rest.
How long does it take to walk between Strip hotels?
Neighbouring resorts are often 10 to 15 minutes apart door to door, because the buildings are so large. Use the calculator on this page for any two resorts.
