Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is unusually close to the city: the south end of the Strip is about 10 minutes away by car and the centre about 15 to 20 minutes.

Taxi

Taxi ranks are outside baggage claim at both terminals. Fares are metered, with an airport surcharge. Ask the driver to use surface streets, not the freeway tunnel, unless traffic is bad: “long-hauling” through the tunnel costs more and is the most common complaint.

Uber and Lyft

Rideshare pickups are in the parking garages (Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 each have signed rideshare zones). Follow the signs; it is a short walk. Prices rise at busy times.

Shuttles

Shared shuttle vans run to the main hotels. They are cheaper for solo travellers but stop at several hotels.

Public bus

RTC buses serve the airport. The bus is the cheapest option but slow with luggage.

Rental cars

Rental companies are at a separate Rent-A-Car Center, reached by free shuttle buses from both terminals.

Leaving

Allow plenty of time for security at busy times, especially Sunday afternoons and after big events.
